Jim Merrigan is a Partner of Rawson, Merrigan & Litner, LLP, and works primarily in the Boston office. Jim has long been an effective advocate for individuals who have suffered financial and emotional loss due to a catastrophic personal injury. Jim is committed to ensuring his clients experience a satisfying and meaningful recovery through trial, arbitration, mediation, or negotiation.
Jim’s clients include persons injured in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, animal attacks, injuries in assisted living homes, and other circumstances producing personal injury. Jim also represents injured workers in workers’ compensation cases.
Jim Merrigan attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and graduated in 1987. Jim received his law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law, in Andover, Massachusetts.
Prior to attending law school, Jim spent 8 years in the medical field working for Smith, Kline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline), one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Jim gained invaluable experience working with injured persons as well as their doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals.
Jim lives on the South Shore with his wife Mary and their four sons.
